Epoxy Powder (EP series)

Epoxy based powder coatings were the first thermosetting systems to become commercially available and are still widely used today. Although epoxy powder can be used in decorative applications where they are not subjected to UV radiation, they are used primarily as functional coatings for substrate protection where inherent toughness, corrosion resistance, flexibility and adhesion are required.

The primary limitation of epoxy-based coatings is their poor weather ability and over baking yellowing resistance. However what distinguishes this particular coating is its supreme resistance to chemicals and solvents.

PRETREATMENT
To maximize film properties like adhesion, corrosion resistance and impact resistance, the substrates must be properly cleaned and surface conversion.

APPLICATION
Papillon Epoxy powder can be formulated for use with corona and tribo charge spray equipment.
